In most kitchens, yes. The compact tankless unit is designed to preserve useful cabinet space. We confirm measurements and plumbing access before installation and explain any unusual fit issue before work begins.
How long does installation take?＋
Most standard installations take about two to three hours. We protect the work area, install and test the system, check every connection for leaks, and show you how to use it before leaving.
What if I rent my home?＋
Many renters install an under-sink system with written landlord approval. The installation is discreet and can usually be removed later. We can explain the small plumbing and faucet changes so you can ask permission clearly.
Is there an alkaline filter option?＋
Yes, as an optional add-on. An alkaline pH post-filter — also called a remineralization stage — sits after the membrane and reintroduces a small amount of calcium and magnesium, which raises pH slightly and gives the water a rounder taste. This mineral-restoring RO setup is not part of the standard $550 package. Ask for it when you book and we quote the cartridge and the extra stage before the appointment.
Do you supply and fit the system, or just sell it?＋
We supply and fit it. Blink H2O is a turnkey drinking water filter installation service, so the $550 CAD is all-in hardware and labour: the system, the dedicated faucet, standard materials, professional installation, commissioning, leak testing, first-year replacement filters and a one-year workmanship warranty. You do not need to source parts or book a separate plumber.
How much does it cost to maintain?＋
Routine filter replacements are the main ongoing cost. Your first-year replacement filters are included with the $550 installation. After that, typical annual filter costs depend on water use and source-water quality; we provide the exact replacement schedule for your system.
